We are the indigenous Christians of the Holy Land—rooted here since ancient days. We were there when the Spirit descended at Pentecost, the first to follow Jesus, who walked among us not as a distant figure, but as one of us—sharing meals, stories, and life in community.

Ours is a faith rooted not just in belief, but in place: the streets of Jerusalem, the hills of Galilee, the fields of Bethlehem, and the quiet paths of Nazareth. We received the Gospel in the very soil where it began—through relationships, through communion, through presence.

And yet today, we are often erased—left out of global Christian conversations, marginalized by geopolitical interests, and sidelined by theologies that dangerously conflate covenant with empire, silencing the very Christians still rooted in the land.

We are not a footnote in Christian history—we are its living roots, still growing, still bearing witness, still abiding in the same Christ who walked with us in communion.

Living Stones: Indigenous Christians of the Holy Land

Join the Living Stones community.

This space is for you—those still tending the soil, and those carrying it in your hearts from afar. A place to remember, to connect, and to be heard.

Together, as one Body, we can raise awareness in our communities worldwide and speak truth into today’s narrative.

Social Mapping Project

We started in the Levantine, but are now all over the world. Even though we are dispersed, we are still connected by our heritage and share the same ancestors.

Let’s unite our dispersed community world wide by contributing to the first collective map of Levantine Christians. Share your location. Every contribution counts!
